Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of client needs by performing intake sessions and completing Integrated Biopsychosocial Assessments to formulate appropriate diagnoses.

• Utilize the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders V (DSM V) standards to develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients, particularly those with complex or multiple diagnoses.
\n
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), behavior modification, and supportive counseling sessions, tailored to the unique needs of each individual, family, or group.
\n
• Provide clinical supervision, mentorship, and oversight to Mental Health Workers and therapy assistants to ensure high-quality mental health care is delivered consistently.
\n
• Develop cross-disciplinary plans through collaboration with community professionals, enhancing the continuum of care for clients and their families.
\n
• Effectively respond to crisis situations, assessing urgency and providing immediate care while coordinating with appropriate services.
\n
• Offer training and education on relevant clinical topics to colleagues and community members, promoting mental health awareness and best practices.

This role primarily focuses on mothers and families within our community, addressing a wide range of mental health challenges stemming from socioeconomic factors and individual circumstances. Therapists at Young Mind Support work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, co-occurring disorders, and more, making it essential to adopt a holistic and empathetic approach to care.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; however, a Master's or Doctorate in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work (e.g., MA, MS, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, PsyD) from an accredited program is required.

• An independent mental health license (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC) in the state of Oregon is mandatory.

• Proficiency in the use of electronic medical records and various telehealth platforms for patient management and documentation.

• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Windows applications and electronic communication tools.

• A demonstrated ability to manage a significant caseload and interface effectively with healthcare providers and support staff.
