Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to determine their mental health status and challenges, utilizing both standardized tools and clinical interviews.

• Develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each client’s needs, including setting therapeutic goals and identifying appropriate interventions.

• Provide regular individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based practices and culturally competent techniques to enhance treatment efficacy.

• Maintain detailed documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes using our EHR system, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

• Collaborate with other mental health professionals and, when necessary, refer clients to external specialists, such as psychiatrists or substance abuse counselors, to provide holistic care.

• Utilize crisis intervention strategies when required, demonstrating the ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations while ensuring client safety.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your client focus will include individuals dealing with a range of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and substance abuse challenges. Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid mental health licensure in New York State (e.g., LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, LCSW-R).

• A minimum of four years of clinical experience in a relevant setting.

• Strong understanding of mental health disorders and demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling the establishment of rapport with clients from various backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n
