Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at Dynamic Strength, you will work in a home care setting, providing therapy services directly to patients in their residences. This arrangement allows for a unique connection with patients, enabling you to implement care in their natural environment. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, comprising a 40-hour workweek, promoting a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by healthcare providers to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based interventions and therapeutic techniques aimed at restoring function, enhancing mobility, and alleviating pain.
• Document patient progress accurately in electronic health records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Foster positive patient relationships through ongoing communication and support, encouraging active participation in their recovery process.
• Educate patients and their caregivers on effective therapeutic practices and home exercises to promote long-term health.
• Utilize appropriate physical therapy modalities and equipment, ensuring a safe and effective treatment environment.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes and coordinate comprehensive care strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your client base will encompass a variety of specialties, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine patients. In this role, you'll have the chance to treat individuals of all ages, from young athletes recovering from injuries to elderly patients managing chronic pain. This diverse patient population allows for a rich professional experience as you navigate different challenges and treatment methodologies.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• Current state licensure to practice physical therapy in Virginia.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills for effectively interacting with patients and team members.
• Proficient computer skills for documentation and use of electronic health record systems.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and staff, enhancing the therapeutic experience.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a home care or outpatient therapy setting is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Dynamic Strength offers a competitive salary range between USD 80,000 and 100,000 per year, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
