Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine patients' goals and needs, establishing a personalized treatment plan tailored to achieve optimal functional outcomes.
• Manage a caseload involving direct one-on-one therapy sessions, maximizing engagement and effectiveness during each appointment.
• Implement evidence-based interventions focused on enhancing range of motion, mobility, and overall physical function.
• Utilize a variety of treatment modalities, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive care that emphasizes non-invasive options to reduce reliance on medication.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and rehabilitation specialists, to ensure coordinated and effective care throughout the recovery process.
• Encourage and motivate patients, guiding them towards maintaining a healthy lifestyle that promotes strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Evaluate and document patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and feedback.
• Provide education to patients and their families concerning recovery strategies, wellness practices, and lifestyle modifications to support continued progress post-therapy.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient visits and treatments using WebPT EMR Software to streamline documentation and promote effective communication within the clinical team.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve individuals with orthopedic conditions, including post-operative recovery, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal disorders. Our diverse clientele benefits from a custom approach to care, where their unique circumstances and objectives guide the treatment strategies employed.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current valid Virginia state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Demonstrated integrity with a clean professional record and no history of disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a solid understanding of therapeutic exercise prescription.
• Exceptional communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with patients and interdisciplinary teams.
• Experience using WebPT EMR Software is a plus, streamlining documentation processes and patient tracking.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient or home care setting is strongly preferred.
• Proven track record of developing personalized fitness and rehabilitation programs that achieve measurable improvements in patient outcomes.
• Expertise in specific manual therapy skills or certification could enhance your candidacy.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
