Pro - Ace Recovery Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team full-time in Fairfax, Virginia. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians to determine necessary therapeutic interventions.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans aimed at helping patients achieve their recovery goals in alignment with their physician's recommendations.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques and modalities to promote recovery, alleviate pain, and enhance functional mobility.
• Monitor patient progress continuously and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
• Maintain open and effective communication with patients and their family members, providing them with necessary instruction and education regarding care plans.
• Document all patient interactions, assessments, and treatments clearly and accurately to comply with clinical standards and the provider's requirements.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, ensuring a comprehensive approach to care that addresses the unique needs of each patient.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role will focus primarily on patients dealing with orthopedic injuries, but you will also have opportunities to work with a diverse range of populations including pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine clients. Your expertise will be essential in helping these individuals reclaim their daily activities and passions, ensuring their quality of life improves significantly through rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Current and valid State License in Physical Therapy to practice in Virginia.
• Minimum of two years of experience as a practicing physical therapist, preferably in an orthopedic setting.
• Certification in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients and caregivers.
• Competence in word processing and electronic health record systems for documentation and reporting purposes.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in delivering home care physical therapy services will be highly regarded.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practice guidelines specific to orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Ability to build rapport and trust with patients, demonstrating empathy and emotional support.
• Experience in utilizing innovative treatment modalities and rehabilitation technologies.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being.
