Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations to formulate tailored treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, adapting methodologies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Maintain thorough and accurate clinical records in compliance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring that all client information is current and confidential.

• Collaborate regularly with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to provide a holistic approach to client care, improving overall treatment outcomes.

• Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in mental health through workshops and continuous professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our counselors work with a diverse client base, including individuals, couples, families, and groups facing a variety of mental health challenges. This role will involve providing therapeutic support to clients dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and more within the community context of Etlan and beyond.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Virginia.

• At least 2 years of experience providing counseling services, preferably within clinical settings, showcasing evidence of effective therapeutic practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n
