Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments of clients’ psychosocial needs, taking into account their emotional, mental, and social circumstances, particularly in relation to mental health and addiction recovery.

• Collaborate closely with clients and their families to create personalized care plans that address their specific needs and support their recovery journey.

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions, offering emotional support and therapy to assist clients in managing anxiety, depression, and stress related to their current situations.

• Become a staunch advocate for clients by ensuring their access to necessary community resources and social services, facilitating a smoother journey toward recovery.

• Regularly monitor client progress through scheduled check-ins, ensuring safety and addressing any emerging concerns in a timely manner.

• Serve as a mediator in resolving family conflicts related to care, enhancing the support network for the clients.

• Educate clients and families on resources, including support groups and programs in the community that foster social engagement and improve quality of life.

• Maintain meticulous documentation including assessments, care plans, progress notes, and relevant communications, ensuring compliance with ethical and regulatory standards.

This role primarily focuses on supporting seniors dealing with mental health challenges, particularly in a detoxification environment. Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, with a strong foundation in clinical practices relevant to mental health.

• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical social work role, ideally in community services or a geriatric environment.

• Comprehensive knowledge of social work ethics, aging-related issues, addiction treatment models, and available community resources.

• Outstanding assessment, counseling, and problem-solving abilities.

• Demonstrated capacity to connect with and support senior clients and their families with empathy and understanding.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience working in a detoxification center or with clients facing addiction recovery challenges is highly desirable. Familiarity with group therapy techniques and community outreach programs will be beneficial in enhancing client engagement.

Compensation and Benefits\n
