Work Environment\n

This role operates in a fully remote telehealth setting, providing you with the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home while making a significant impact on the lives of clients throughout Illinois. With a schedule that accommodates varied client needs, we are available to provide therapy from 7 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week. You will have access to a supportive virtual environment, equipped with the latest technology for seamless communication and care delivery.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' trauma histories and determine effective treatment approaches tailored to their needs.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery and resilience-building, integrating best practices and evidence-based methods.
\n
• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions utilizing specialized therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic, integrated care for all patients.
\n
• Provide timely crisis intervention and support, especially during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring clients feel safe and understood.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and available resources to foster their healing journey.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development initiatives focused on trauma-informed care.

• Stay current with the latest research and therapeutic modalities in trauma therapy to provide the highest standard of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients primarily consist of individuals and families navigating the challenges of trauma, including emotional, psychological, and situational stressors. We serve a diverse patient population, providing therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. As a therapist at Navigate, you will play an essential role in their journeys toward healing and empowerment, ensuring their voices are heard and their unique experiences are validated.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Illinois.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed care modalities.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure clinical experience in providing trauma-focused therapies.
\n
• Experience working with diverse populations, preferably with an emphasis on families and youth.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
