Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, utilizing telehealth technology to connect with clients in Urbana, Illinois, and beyond. Our flexible work environment enables you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while supporting a diverse patient population. The practice operates from 7 am to 10 pm, seven days a week, allowing you to design a schedule that fits your lifestyle without the need for on-call duties.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed assessments to understand clients' mental health histories and determine their unique treatment needs.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, aiming to foster resilience in clients.

• Utilize evidenced-based therapies, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to address client needs effectively.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that help clients process their trauma, cultivate coping strategies, and promote psychological healing.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists and mental health professionals to provide comprehensive care and support for clients.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention and responsive support for clients experiencing acute trauma-related crises.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, recovery processes, and available resources to enhance their healing journey.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation, adhering to legal and ethical standards, to track patient progress and treatment outcomes.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to discuss best practices in trauma-informed care and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Illinois.

• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency with necessary computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n
