Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to explore patients' history and determine suitable treatment methods.

• Collaborate with patients to develop and implement personalized treatment plans designed to promote trauma recovery and resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and other approaches tailored to individual patient needs.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process trauma, build coping mechanisms, and foster healing.

• Work in a multidisciplinary team setting, collaborating with psychiatrists, case managers, and other professionals to ensure holistic and integrated patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, healthy coping strategies, and available resources, thereby empowering them in their healing journey.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities that enhance trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed on the latest research, methodologies, and best practices in trauma treatment to continuously improve the quality of care provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work directly with individuals recovering from trauma and may encounter a diverse range of clients, including those with PTSD, anxiety, depression, and other co-occurring conditions. Our patients often exhibit a range of trauma symptoms, necessitating a nuanced understanding of their experiences and tailored treatment approaches to support their recovery effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in the state of Kansas.

• A strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and therapeutic modalities that focus on trauma recovery and resilience-building.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, preferably in trauma-informed therapy.

• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and related computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
