Work Environment\n

This role is entirely remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while benefiting from a close-knit team atmosphere. As part of our hospice care team, you will collaborate with colleagues across various disciplines, including physicians, nurses, and other mental health professionals, ensuring a comprehensive approach to patient care. Our work hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a stable schedule conducive to work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide psychotherapy and other mental health services to patients with various mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

• Conduct thorough assessments of each patient's mental health status, including evaluating emotional, behavioral, and social functioning to develop a holistic understanding of their needs.

• Collaborate with the hospice team to develop and implement personalized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient.

• Support patients and their families in making difficult decisions, providing emotional support during challenging phases of illness, and offering coping strategies to manage anxiety and grief.

• Utilize electronic health records (EHRs) to document patient interactions meticulously, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date for optimal care coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a licensed Clinical Social Worker in our hospice setting, you will primarily work with patients who are facing terminal illnesses and their families. Your role will involve addressing not only the psychological aspects of their conditions but also navigating the complexities of grief and loss, making a significant impact during some of the most challenging times in their lives. Providing pivotal support in these moments can lead to improved patient outcomes and foster resilience in coping with terminal illness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

• Possession of a current state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
