Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to accurately evaluate patients' trauma histories and identify tailored treatment strategies.

• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans aimed at promoting trauma recovery, resilience, and long-term well-being.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions where patients can work through trauma, develop effective coping mechanisms, and foster resilience.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other multidisciplinary professionals to ensure holistic, integrated care for each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention services and timely support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure patient safety and stability.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available resources to enhance understanding and involvement in the recovery process.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation to comply with legal and ethical standards while ensuring continuity in patient care.

• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities focused on enhancing trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to refine and enhance treatment approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals who have experienced varying degrees of trauma, including survivors of abuse, neglect, and significant life changes. Your role is vital in helping them navigate their trauma recovery journeys, utilizing tailored interventions to meet their specific needs and fostering a supportive therapeutic alliance.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to remain calm and effective in high-stress situations.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and related computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, we value your passion and commitment to patient care. Experience delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions is highly desirable, as is familiarity with trauma-related disorders and treatment modalities.

Compensation and Benefits\n
