Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each patient’s unique trauma history, guiding the development of personalized treatment strategies.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that encompass evidence-based therapeutic interventions aimed at enhancing recovery and resilience.

• Utilize modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to support clients in processing their trauma and developing coping mechanisms.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions to foster a sense of community and support among clients, aiding them in their healing journeys.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive, multidisciplinary care for each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and emotional stabilization.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and the resources available to aid recovery.

• Maintain meticulous case documentation in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring patient confidentiality and data integrity.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including veterans, survivors of domestic abuse, and those suffering from systemic grief or loss. Your expertise will be crucial in helping these individuals reclaim their lives and progress towards mental wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid license as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.
\n
• A strong foundation in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, exhibiting a compassionate and empathetic demeanor towards patients.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications necessary for effective case management.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
