Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, factoring in any relevant medical conditions that may impact a patient's mental well-being.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address both psychiatric and medical needs, ensuring a holistic approach to care.

• Provide both group and individual therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to facilitate patient growth and resilience.

• Collaborate with medical professionals regularly to ensure coordinated care, optimizing treatment outcomes for patients with complex conditions.

• Offer immediate crisis intervention and support to patients experiencing mental health emergencies, ensuring a prompt and effective response.

• Educate patients on the connection between mental and physical health, empowering them to take active roles in managing their conditions.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential records, adhering to ethical guidelines and legal standards in documentation.

• Participate in regular team meetings, case conferences, and interdisciplinary care planning sessions to enhance care delivery.

• Stay informed about advancements in mental health treatment and integrated care methodologies through continuous professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with a diverse patient population, many of whom present with co-occurring medical conditions such as autoimmune disorders, substance use disorders, and chronic pain. Understanding the complexities of each patient’s situation will enable you to effectively tailor interventions that enhance their overall health and quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
\n
• Current and valid licensure as an LMHC, LCSW, LCSW-R, Licensed Psychoanalyst, Psychologist, or LMFT in New York State.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a capacity to build rapport and trust with clients.
\n
• Ability to maintain professional ethical boundaries and ensure patient confidentiality at all times.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technology.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in a clinical setting addressing mental health needs alongside co-occurring physical health issues.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including:
