Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for children and adolescents to identify their unique needs and challenges.

• Develop personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities and considering each child's developmental stage.

• Deliver individual and family therapy, actively engaging families in the therapeutic process to foster a supportive home environment.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals, including child psychiatrists and educators, to coordinate care plans.

• Provide crisis intervention support to children and adolescents during mental health emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health issues, coping strategies, and available community resources.

• Maintain accurate and secure client records in accordance with legal and ethical standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate actively in team meetings and case consultations to enhance collaborative care and share insights with peers.

• Stay current with advancements in the field of child and adolescent psychiatry and integrate new knowledge into practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on children and adolescents experiencing a diverse array of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders. You will play a crucial role in guiding young individuals toward improved mental health outcomes and a better quality of life while providing reassurance and support to their families.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas, ensuring compliance with local regulations.

• Strong understanding of mental health disorders affecting children and adolescents, along with evidence-based treatment approaches.

Compensation and Benefits\n
