Work Environment\n

This role is designed to be 100% remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while providing telehealth services to our patients. We employ advanced telehealth technology to ensure seamless communication and care delivery. The work schedule is primarily Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate the diverse needs of our patient population.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to understand each patient’s unique needs and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy to deliver effective individual and group counseling sessions.

• Facilitate psychoeducational groups that aim to provide support and resources for patients dealing with common mental health challenges like stress management and coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborate actively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to develop and implement cohesive care strategies for patients.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during acute mental health emergencies to ensure patient safety and well-being.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and connecting them with community resources.

• Document treatment progress meticulously in compliance with legal and ethical standards, using our electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage in ongoing professional development, including attending case consultations and team meetings, to stay updated on best practices and the latest research in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a mental health therapist at Marvelous Counseling Services, you will focus on a diverse patient population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. Our clients come from various backgrounds and experiences, offering you the chance to implement culturally competent care tailored to each individual's circumstances and challenges. This includes addressing issues such as trauma, relationship challenges, and behavioral health concerns while fostering trust and rapport with clients in a telehealth setting.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is mandatory.

• Current and valid licensure as either an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Texas is required.
\n
• Strong understanding of various mental health disorders and proficiency in diverse therapeutic modalities.

• Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and create effective treatment plans.

• Experience providing psychotherapy to individuals and groups of varying demographic backgrounds is essential.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, active listening abilities, and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Strong ethical judgment, professionalism, and a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and comfort with technology for remote service delivery is beneficial.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
