Work Environment

This position primarily entails working onsite within the comfort of our patients' homes. You will experience a flexible work schedule that allows for personal management of your time, typically from Monday to Friday. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients requiring physical therapy, developing tailored treatment plans based on specific needs and health conditions.
• Deliver hands-on therapy that includes manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, and patient education to foster recovery and improve physical capabilities.
• Monitor and document patient progress, providing adjustments to care plans as necessary based on patient feedback and clinical observations.
• Educate patients and their families about various treatment methods, assistive devices, and self-care strategies to ensure successful recovery in a home environment.
• Equip patients with knowledge and training on the proper use of mobility aids and other equipment designed to enhance independence.
• Engage with other healthcare professionals, sharing relevant patient information to coordinate care and optimize rehabilitation outcomes.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in physical therapy through continued education and professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a varied patient demographic, encompassing children and adults who are recovering from surgery, injuries, and chronic illnesses. Your role is crucial in ensuring that patients regain their mobility and quality of life by employing evidence-based practices tailored to each individual's circumstances.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients and other health care professionals.
• Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with electronic health records.
• A commitment to continuous learning and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in physical therapy is required.

Compensation and Benefits
