Work Environment\n

This role is conducted in a flexible remote setting, which allows you to consult with clients from the comfort of your home while maintaining a strong connection with our onsite staff. Given the nature of our community health clinic, you will regularly engage with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and support personnel, to coordinate comprehensive care. Our standard working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, promoting a work-life balance while ensuring you can provide consistent support to your patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide crisis intervention and counseling to clients experiencing acute mental health challenges, utilizing evidence-based techniques to assess their emotional and behavioral concerns.

• Regularly communicate with medical personnel regarding patient progress, treatment modifications, and any arising concerns, ensuring a cohesive care strategy.

• Document and maintain detailed client records that comply with our documentation policy, including psychosocial assessments and clinical notes.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and execute tailored treatment plans that respect each patient's unique context, reinforcing discharge and follow-up planning strategies.

• Engage with community leaders and organizations while representing Within Therapy & Wellness at local meetings to better identify and address the social needs of our clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will involve a diverse range of clients facing various mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.

• An active independent license to practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A minimum of 2 years of pertinent professional experience working in a mental health or community health setting.
