This role operates in a fully remote telehealth setting, providing flexibility for both the counselors and the clients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate clients' mental health conditions and needs that inform individualized treatment plans.

• Develop, implement, and adapt personalized treatment plans incorporating a mix of traditional therapies and innovative, evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness approaches.

• Provide virtual therapy sessions to diverse client groups, ensuring a supportive and therapeutic space tailored to their unique circumstances.

• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of therapy sessions, including treatment plans and progress notes, in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay informed about the latest advancements in mental health treatment, thereby enhancing therapeutic skills and knowledge.

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver holistic care, addressing both psychological and psychosocial factors impacting client well-being.

• Participate in team meetings and consultations to share best practices, discuss complex cases, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with all privacy standards and ethical guidelines during all client interactions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on working with adult and adolescent clients experiencing a range of mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and grief. Counselors will provide support to clients undergoing significant life changes, including but not limited to chronic illness, transitions, and bereavement. A sensitivity to the unique cultural, socio-economic, and emotional contexts of our clients is paramount as we strive to promote healing and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is required.

• A valid and active license in Washington State (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW) is mandatory.
