Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the psychological, emotional, and behavioral needs of patients seeking treatment for substance use disorders.

• Facilitate engaging individual counseling sessions utilizing techniques such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy tailored to addiction recovery.

• Lead group therapy sessions that promote community support and shared experiences among participants on their recovery journey.

• Work in tandem with psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated and coordinated care for all clients.

• Provide crisis intervention and support for clients experiencing substance-related emergencies, ensuring they receive immediate help.

• Educate patients and their families about the dynamics of addiction, recovery strategies, and available community resources for further assistance.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals struggling with substance use disorders, ranging from mild to severe levels of dependence. Our clients often face complex life challenges and may come from varied backgrounds. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.

• In-depth knowledge of substance use disorders, evidence-based treatment models, and recovery-oriented care frameworks.

• Documented experience providing both individual and group therapy focused on addiction treatment.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, exhibiting a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to client care.

• Strong adherence to professional ethics, able to maintain boundaries and confidentiality with all patient information.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
