Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations to assess client needs and create individualized treatment plans.

• Provide crisis intervention services and ongoing support to clients, ensuring a robust follow-up care system is in place.

• Evaluate and determine the appropriate level of mental health care for patients based on individual assessments.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including the Department of Correction, to facilitate access to services and coordinate patient care effectively.

• Lead group therapy sessions on mental health observation units, adapting materials and approaches to meet the specific needs of varied patient demographics.

• Complete all required documentation promptly and accurately, ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.

• Participate in weekly clinical supervision to reflect on practice, improve client outcomes, and receive feedback on your approaches and techniques.

• Engage in case conferences and treatment planning meetings, contributing valuable insights on patient care and service delivery.

• Attend mental health and medical rounds regularly to stay updated on patient progress and coordinate care seamlessly.

• May administer psychological testing and supervise social work interns or student volunteers as needed, contributing to their learning and professional development.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.

• Possess a valid State license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport quickly with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on maintaining detailed and accurate records.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
