Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients’ mental health status and substance abuse histories, gathering detailed information to inform treatment plans.

• Develop tailored, evidence-based treatment plans that address clients’ individual needs related to both addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, employing therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to promote positive client outcomes.

• Collaborate closely with the treatment team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure a coordinated approach to client care and treatment.

• Educate and support family members, actively involving them in the recovery process, while providing them with skills to assist loved ones in maintaining health and stability.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation in compliance with legal regulations and organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with individuals battling substance abuse issues, ranging from alcohol dependency to opioid addiction, often compounded by various mental health challenges. Your approach will be characterized by empathy, respect, and a deep understanding of the recovery process.

Qualifications\n

• A valid state license (LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or PsyD) is required for this position.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is essential.

• Specialized training or significant experience in addiction counseling is preferred.

• Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based practices for treating substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
