Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct virtual psychosocial evaluations effective in identifying the strengths and needs of students.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including teachers, school counselors, and parents—to develop comprehensive care plans that enhance student welfare.

• Advocate for children’s mental health by ensuring equitable access to resources and support within the educational setting.

• Maintain detailed and accurate records of client interactions, treatment progress, and outcomes in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in mental health care and educational interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LICSW at Marriage Matters, Ltd, you will primarily work with children and adolescents facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma-related concerns. Your expertise will be vital in creating safe and supportive therapeutic environments that encourage students to express themselves and develop coping strategies.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Washington.

• A minimum of two (2) years of post-licensure experience in clinical social work, preferably within educational settings.

• Strong skills in conducting diagnostic assessments, developing customized treatment plans, and employing therapeutic techniques.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to connect with diverse populations, including students from various ethnic and cultural backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n
