This position operates in a remote capacity, allowing you to provide care for our clients from the comfort of your own home while engaging in our outpatient office activities. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive preliminary interviews, thoroughly documenting case details from initial consultations through treatment completion.

• Evaluate clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health to inform treatment strategies.
\n
• Design and implement tailored intervention and recovery plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups, ensuring each plan addresses specific client needs.
\n
• Facilitate therapeutic sessions, fostering a safe environment for both individual and group discussions, and focusing on personal stories to encourage healing.
\n
• Monitor clients’ progress, providing adaptive strategies as necessary to align with changing needs.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, social workers, and medical professionals to create holistic intervention plans.
\n
• Engage in follow-up communication with healthcare providers for clients who have recently been hospitalized, ensuring continuity of care.
\n
• Identify behaviors and barriers to recovery, proactively working with clients to overcome them.
\n
• Support families and primary caregivers by providing strategies to manage mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your practice will focus on a diverse range of clients dealing with various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and trauma-related disorders. You will also support clients struggling with emotional and behavioral issues, making this role both dynamic and rewarding as you help clients achieve their wellness goals.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
\n
• Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas.
\n
• A passing score in the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Proficient in electronic health record systems, ideally with experience in AVATAR.
\n
• Great written and verbal communication abilities, essential for effectively engaging with clients and the healthcare team.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and understanding essential in a counseling context.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous hands-on experience as a mental health counselor in a similar clinical setting.

• Familiarity with best practices outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
\n
• Understanding of the physiological and psychological impacts of addiction and various health conditions on mental health.

• Knowledge of the effects of pharmacological treatments prescribed by medical professionals.

Compensation and Benefits\n
