Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at DoCare Counseling Center, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual counseling sessions via secure video conferencing platforms, aiming to foster an environment where clients can freely express their thoughts and feelings.

• Facilitating discussions that encourage clients to explore their emotions and personal experiences, thereby helping them gain insight into their mental health and interpersonal relationships.

• Acting as an advocate for clients by aiding them in defining their mental health goals and providing emotional support throughout their counseling journey.

• Evaluating clients’ mental health conditions, and formulating and implementing treatment plans grounded in solution-focused methodologies based on clinical evidence and your personal expertise.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clientele will primarily consist of pre-screened individuals who are stable and present low acuity challenges. This allows you more time and energy to craft meaningful interventions rather than being bogged down by crises management. Each client is matched to your specific areas of expertise and preference, ensuring a productive therapeutic alliance.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate must possess:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.

• An independent counseling license appropriate for the state of Illinois, including but not limited to:

• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

• Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

• The ability to make professional evaluations and informed decisions related to treatment planning.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a compassionate demeanor when interacting with clients.

• Strong computer literacy to navigate our telehealth systems and document client information efficiently.

Compensation for this role includes:
