Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough intake assessments and needs evaluations for clients, families, and significant others by utilizing testing, interviews, and observational techniques.
• Develop, implement, and assess personalized therapeutic treatment plans, actively adjusting strategies to meet the evolving needs of each patient.
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation of patient records according to facility protocols and licensing regulations, ensuring compliance and quality care.
• Regularly participate in clinical team meetings, contributing to collaborative discussions about cases and treatment strategies.
• Provide crisis intervention counseling as needed, and offer outreach services within community settings such as schools and homes, as directed by the Behavioral Health Director.
• Facilitate specialized counseling groups focused on topics such as parenting, grief management, anger control, and coping with illness, ensuring a supportive environment for all participants.
• Engage in weekly case reviews to enhance treatment methodologies, integrate feedback, and celebrate client progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will serve a diverse patient population in Fort Walton Beach, helping individuals and families navigate a range of challenges, including relationship issues, emotional disturbances, and life transitions. Your work will play a crucial role in promoting resilience, improving mental health outcomes, and fostering stronger family dynamics in our community.

Qualifications

• Active LMFT licensure in Florida, with a preference for candidates having up to two years of clinical experience post-licensure, ideally with some experience in medical social work.
• A Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related behavioral science field is required.
• Certification in one or more treatment modalities relevant to mental health care.
• Current CPR certification.
• Demonstrated proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and clinical documentation.
• Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills to foster effective patient engagement.
• Ability to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in community health settings or integrated care environments.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities.
• Experience working with diverse populations and understanding cultural competency in mental health.

Compensation and Benefits
