Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, coordinate, and evaluate effective clinical treatment programs for members diagnosed with acute or chronic mental health issues, ensuring careful consideration of their unique needs.
• Provide individual, couples, family, and group psychotherapy through telehealth, fostering an environment conducive to healing and open communication.
• Prepare comprehensive intake summaries, treatment plans, and case documentation while ensuring compliance with state regulations and NCQA standards, maintaining privacy and professionalism in all client interactions.
• Utilize effective counseling techniques to assess client needs and formulate individualized strategies for improvement, ensuring clients feel heard and understood.
• Conduct thorough research to connect clients with additional community resources, enhancing their support network and expanding their avenues for recovery.
• Actively participate in on-call rotation and interdisciplinary meetings to evaluate and refine treatment interventions, ensuring the highest standards of care are upheld.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on serving adults, particularly seniors who often face unique psychological challenges. You will work closely with clients dealing with a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, grief, and adjustment disorders. Your role will be central to helping these individuals harness their strengths and develop coping strategies in an increasingly complex world.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Social Welfare, Clinical or Counseling Psychology, or a related mental health field from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or equivalent within the state of California is mandatory. Please note that applicants with an associate license are not eligible for this position due to billing restrictions.
• Strong proficiency in computer skills, particularly within Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel). Familiarity with electronic health record systems will be advantageous.
• Capacity to navigate a fast-paced work environment, managing multiple client cases efficiently and effectively.
• Self-motivated with the ability to function autonomously while also collaborating as part of a larger clinical team.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working with geriatric clients is preferred but not mandatory.
• Demonstrated experience in providing teletherapy services and adapting traditional practices to an online format.
• Previous involvement with community resources and outreach programs to enhance client support networks.

Compensation and Benefits
