As a Security Officer Driving Patrol in Miami, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail and mall location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security‑related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license in job state. You will also deliver outstanding customer service and communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and integrity‑driven team. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Tue, Thur, Sat, Sun 12:00 AM – 08:00 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to clients, tenants, shoppers, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and report details through proper site procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the mall location, common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and high‑traffic areas, observe customer and visitor activity, and communicate with management and/or local responders when needed regarding security‑related concerns. Support retail and mall operations by assisting with crowd management, directing foot traffic, and documenting incidents, hazards, and/or policy violations according to post orders. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located. The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
