Work Environment\n

As a fully remote position, this role allows flexibility to meet personal and professional needs while engaging directly with clients through virtual sessions. We maintain a structured yet adaptable workplace, with a standard work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, although some flexibility may be required to accommodate the needs of our diverse patient base.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' backgrounds and craft tailored individual treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based practices, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate patient recovery.

• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients through their trauma processing journey and equipping them with effective coping techniques.
\n
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate a holistic approach to patient care, ensuring that all treatment aspects are addressed.

• Implement crisis intervention strategies during trauma-related emergencies to provide immediate support and stabilization for clients.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and available resources, fostering a deeper understanding of the healing process.

• Maintain meticulous and compliant electronic health records that preserve patient confidentiality while meeting legal standards.

• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and training sessions to refine your approach and remain apprised of current developments in trauma care.

• Stay informed about the latest research in trauma therapy to enhance treatment efficacy and patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve individuals who have been affected by significant traumatic experiences. Our patient population is diverse, spanning various backgrounds and walks of life, from those coping with PTSD to individuals dealing with complex emotional and psychological trauma. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience preferred, showcasing a solid background in trauma-focused therapy.

• Deep understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and essential computer applications.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
