Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions in a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment tailored to meet varying client needs.

• Perform comprehensive assessments to identify clients’ emotional, psychological, and social challenges, developing personalized treatment plans that reflect their unique circumstances.

• Ensure meticulous documentation of client interactions and treatment progress while adhering to Delamere’s policies and state regulations.

• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to inform clinical strategies and enhance the quality of care through collaboration with other healthcare professionals.

• Stay abreast of the latest therapeutic techniques and best practices in the field by attending professional development programs and workshops.

• Maintain flexibility in scheduling to accommodate clients' availability for sessions, promoting accessibility and engagement in their care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapists at Delamere serve a diverse client population which may include individuals, couples, and families from various backgrounds dealing with complex mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship challenges. You will be instrumental in creating impactful change as you work with clients ranging from children and adolescents to adults and seniors. This role is rewarding as you empower individuals and families to overcome obstacles and navigate their emotional landscapes effectively.

Qualifications\n

• Current and active Maryland state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT), in good standing.

• A Bachelor’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field; a Master's degree preferred.

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families.

• Proficient in providing both in-person (as needed) and virtual therapy sessions.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with team members.

• Ability to work independently while contributing to a supportive team atmosphere.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in specialized areas of therapy, such as trauma-informed care, play therapy, or substance abuse counseling, is a plus.
