Work Environment

The position is based onsite within the patients' homes, allowing you to deliver therapy in comfortable and familiar settings. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' conditions by analyzing their mobility, strength, and functional abilities to develop personalized treatment strategies.
• Create and implement tailored therapy programs, integrating various rehabilitation techniques aligned with each patient's goals for recovery.
• Lead patients through rehabilitation exercises, focusing on enhancing their physical strength, improving mobility, and restoring functional independence.
• Utilize hands-on manual therapy techniques to alleviate pain, mobilize joints, and enhance overall functional performance.
• Monitor patient progress with regular assessments, adapting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
• Educate patients and their families on recovery processes and preventive strategies to maintain health and prevent future injuries.
• Document patient progress and treatment plans accurately in our EMR system, utilizing WebPT to streamline communications and track outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves adult patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, chronic pain conditions, and mobility impairments. You will work closely with a diverse client base, tailoring your therapeutic interventions to meet the individual needs of each patient. Your experience and skills will have a significant impact on improving their quality of life and return to daily activities.

Qualifications

• A current New Jersey Physical Therapist license in good standing is mandatory.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Master's degree or Doctorate is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a relevant outpatient or home care setting is essential.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy methods and techniques.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems such as WebPT is a plus.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with diverse patient populations, particularly in home care settings, is highly desirable.
• Previous involvement in developing and leading specialized rehabilitation programs will be advantageous.
• Exceptional communication skills to effectively educate patients and their families are preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and expertise.
