Gotham Enterprises Ltd is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic team in Ithaca, New York. This full-time position is integral to our primary care practice, where you will be responsible for diagnosing a wide variety of health conditions, administering treatments, and promoting healthy lifestyle choices among our patients. Work Environment

As a Nurse Practitioner within our primary care facility, you will work onsite in a busy and engaging environment. Operating Monday through Friday with a schedule of 40 hours each week, our practice strives to accommodate both the professional requirements of our staff and the needs of our patients. The close-knit team fosters a culture of collaboration and continuous learning, ensuring that you are supported in all facets of your role.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and review patients’ medical histories.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood tests and imaging studies, to support clinical decision-making.
• Diagnose acute and chronic health conditions, providing both immediate and long-term care plans.
• Propose and administer treatment strategies for a variety of health issues, including chronic diseases and infections.
• Prescribe medications and monitor patient responses to ensure effectiveness and adjust treatment as necessary.
• Maintain comprehensive patient records and ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
• Engage in research and professional development activities to continually enhance your clinical expertise.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated and holistic patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of your role will be on a diverse patient population encompassing individuals across all age groups. Our facility addresses a wide range of health concerns, promoting preventive care and chronic disease management. You will have the opportunity to impact the lives of patients by instilling healthy practices and guiding them through their health journeys.

Qualifications

• A valid New York State Nurse Practitioner license, with credentials in Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP) required.
• A Master’s degree in Nursing or a related field.
• DEA certification is mandatory.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in settings such as outpatient clinics, hospitals, or emergency departments.
• Strong knowledge of health policies and patient care regulations.
• Exceptional communication skills, allowing for effective interactions with patients and team members.
• Commitment to ethical practice and a team-oriented approach.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in primary care, urgent care, family health, cardiology, or acute care settings is highly valued.
• Bilingual capabilities are considered a plus, as they enhance communication with our diverse patient base.

Compensation and Benefits

Gotham Enterprises Ltd offers a competitive salary range of USD 130,000 to 150,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
