Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the psychological needs of children and adolescents, utilizing age-appropriate evaluation techniques.

• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient, reflecting their developmental stages and unique family dynamics.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to effectively address a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and various behavioral disorders.

• Engage in family therapy sessions aimed at equipping parents and caregivers with strategies to foster a supportive home environment conducive to mental well-being.

• Work collaboratively with child psychiatrists and other health professionals to ensure integrated, holistic care for children and adolescents.

• Facilitate crisis interventions for young clients experiencing acute mental health emergencies, providing immediate support and guidance.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, ongoing treatment options, and available community resources, empowering them to take an active role in their treatment.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records using electronic health record (EHR) systems in compliance with legal and ethical regulations.

• Actively participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities to stay abreast of the latest advancements in child and adolescent psychiatry.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R) in the state of New York.

• Demonstrated knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, familiarity with evidence-based treatment protocols, and proficiency in various therapeutic techniques.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to engage and connect empathetically with children, adolescents, and their families.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a base salary, the position includes:
