Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver engaging individual, family, and group therapy sessions designed to address the unique needs and dynamics of students dealing with mental health disorders.

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments, followed by ongoing evaluations to track progress and adapt treatment plans accordingly.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that are goal-oriented and focused on measurable outcomes.

• Participate in regular multi-disciplinary team meetings, where you will contribute insights that enhance overall treatment strategies for clients.

• Provide supervision and mentorship to Associate Clinical Social Workers, Associate Marriage and Family Therapists, or Associate Professional Clinical Counselors, ensuring high-quality client care.

• Maintain detailed documentation of client interactions and treatment plans using the organization’s electronic health record systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with students who are navigating complex issues regarding substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders. This role emphasizes therapeutic strategies that are sensitive to the developmental needs of children and adolescents, and it strives to foster resilience and healthy coping mechanisms.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field.

• A current, valid license in good standing, such as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).

• Minimum of three years of post-licensure experience in a related field, preferably working with mood disorders.

• Ability to establish rapport and effectively communicate with a diverse client base, including students from various cultural backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatment methodologies for mood disorders, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Familiarity with psychopharmacology, alongside the capability to collaborate with psychiatrists and other medical professionals for integrated care.

• Proven success in delivering positive clinical outcomes when treating mood disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n
