As a remote worker within the Detox Center, you will have the flexibility to create a balanced work schedule while engaging with patients who need immediate therapeutic support. Our operational hours range from Monday to Saturday, allowing our counselors to manage their caseloads efficiently. Key Responsibilities\n

In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of critical tasks aimed at improving the mental health and wellbeing of your clients:

• Conduct initial comprehensive psychosocial assessments of patients and their families, identifying immediate and ongoing mental health needs.

• Triage care effectively, referring patients to appropriate resources and support systems in coordination with interdisciplinary care teams.

• Facilitate therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), ensuring individualized service plans are developed and adhered to in alignment with client goals.

• Maintain detailed and timely documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress to ensure seamless communication within the clinical team.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role involves working with adults undergoing detoxification and managing associated mental health conditions. Counselors will address a wide range of psychological challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and trauma-related issues. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in addressing the unique needs of individuals within this vulnerable population.

Qualifications\n

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A current and valid clinical license, such as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.

• At least two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, particularly with a focus on addiction and behavioral health.

• Strong understanding of treatment modalities, documentation practices, and care coordination strategies.

Preferred Experience\n

While the aforementioned qualifications are required, candidates with experience in emergency settings, crisis intervention, and group therapy facilitation will be highly regarded. Familiarity with virtual platforms for telehealth sessions and documentation is an added advantage.
