Silver Lining Counseling, LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team in Naperville, Illinois. This full-time position offers the flexibility of remote work while serving our youth in an outpatient setting. As a vital member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide specialized mental health support to children and adolescents, helping them navigate the challenges of anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

Work Environment\n

This position allows for a combination of remote work and occasional meetings at our outpatient office in Naperville. You will enjoy a Monday to Friday work schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexibility to accommodate evening shifts based on patient needs. Our office is equipped with advanced technology, including electronic health record (EHR) systems, aimed at streamlining workflow and enhancing patient care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to discern the individual needs of children and adolescents.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that consider the developmental stages of young clients and their familial dynamics.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual and family therapy sessions, aimed at improving mental health outcomes.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions to engage parents and caregivers, assisting them in fostering a supportive home environment.

• Work closely with child psychiatrists and other professionals to provide coordinated, holistic care to patients.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during mental health emergencies affecting children and adolescents.

• Educate families about mental health conditions and available community resources, empowering them to participate in their child's healing journey.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Actively engage in team meetings, professional development activities, and case consultations, fostering a collaborative atmosphere.

• Stay abreast of current research, best practices, and advancements in the field of child and adolescent psychiatry.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depressive episodes, ADHD, and behavioral issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid state licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT.
\n
• Deep understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders, and familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities and therapeutic approaches.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering individual and family therapy to children and adolescents.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on a compassionate and child-centric approach.
\n
• Ability to build trust and establish rapport with young clients and their families effectively.
\n
• Proficient in EHR systems and various computer applications to enhance patient communication and record-keeping.
\n
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment, valuing diverse perspectives.

Preferred Experience\n

• Two or more years of direct counseling experience in a mental health setting, preferably focused on children and adolescents.

• Prior engagement with family therapy modalities and understanding of family dynamics in pediatric mental health.

• Experience in crisis intervention or working with mental health emergencies for youth populations.
\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is between USD 80,000 and 105,000 annually, coupled with potential bonuses.
