Work Environment\n

As a member of our outpatient clinic, you will engage in a structured and supportive remote work environment with regular in-person meetings for collaboration and supervision. Your work schedule will typically be from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts designed to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for children and adolescents, utilizing standardized tools and clinical judgment to evaluate their mental and emotional health.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic techniques, family dynamics, and the developmental stages of each patient.

• Deliver individual and family therapy sessions, using modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy, and Family Systems Therapy.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions to empower parents and caregivers in fostering a supportive home environment.

• Work collaboratively with child psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to patient care, including participation in case consultations and interdisciplinary team meetings.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during mental health emergencies, implementing safety plans as required.

• Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, discussing treatment options, community resources, and self-help strategies to enhance their understanding and engagement in care.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records of patient treatment and progress in compliance with HIPAA and ethical requirements.

• Actively engage in ongoing professional development by participating in training programs, workshops, and staying informed on current research and best practices in child and adolescent psychiatry.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents dealing with mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and behavioral disorders. You will help guide young clients and their families through challenging situations, fostering therapeutic relationships that promote healing and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois.

• In-depth knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders and therapeutic modalities.

• Experience providing individual and family therapy to youth, demonstrating the ability to connect and engage effectively with this age group.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and child-centered approach.

• Ability to build rapport and trust with young clients and their families, utilizing a culturally sensitive framework.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office applications.

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 105,000 annually, with opportunities for performance bonuses.
