Work Environment\n

In this remote position, you will be part of a dynamic outpatient team that utilizes telehealth technology to connect with patients. Our practice atmosphere is collaborative and supportive, fostering a sense of community despite geographical distances. You will work Monday through Friday, with a standard schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, although you may occasionally be asked to adjust to evening hours to meet patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for children and adolescents, identifying their unique needs and challenges.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that integrate evidence-based practices, family involvement, and developmentally appropriate strategies.

• Facilitate therapeutic interventions such as individual therapy, group therapy, and family therapy, all focused on enhancing the mental well-being of young patients.

• Served as a trusted resource for crisis intervention, effectively responding to mental health emergencies with prompt, appropriate support.

• Collaborate extensively with child psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, ensuring a coordinated approach to care that maximizes patient outcomes.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health concepts, available treatment options, and support resources in the community.

• Maintain meticulous records within electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with all ethical, legal, and organizational documentation standards.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through participation in team meetings, case reviews, and training activities that promote continuous learning.

• Remain abreast of the latest research and advances in child and adolescent mental health care to better inform therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role specifically focuses on a diverse population of children and adolescents affected by various mental health conditions, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders. You will work closely with young patients from various backgrounds and family dynamics, emphasizing culturally competent care that respects and incorporates their unique experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.
\n
• Strong foundation in child and adolescent mental health principles, with an ability to apply evidence-based treatment modalities effectively.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering trust and rapport with children, adolescents, and their families.

• Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and other clinical documentation tools.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, working specifically with children and adolescents.

Compensation and Benefits\n
