Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist, you will work in the home care setting, visiting patients in the comfort of their own homes. The full-time schedule consists of Monday to Friday shifts totaling 40 hours per week, enabling a consistent work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Physical Therapist, you will:

• Evaluate patients referred by physicians, developing and implementing comprehensive treatment programs that address their specific conditions and goals.
• Use your clinical expertise to treat patients across a spectrum of specialties, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine, thereby showcasing your versatility.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service, actively engaging with patients to ensure their comfort and satisfaction throughout their therapeutic journey.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes, utilizing evidence-based practices and treatment methodologies.
• Deliver skilled therapeutic interventions directly in patients' homes, aligning techniques with the prescribed plan of care to achieve optimal recovery outcomes.
• Educate and empower patients and their families through consultations, providing guidance and resources for effective home care.
• Meet utilization goals and contribute to overall business objectives, ensuring a balance between high-quality care and operational efficiency.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on delivering personalized care to a diverse group of patients, each requiring tailored interventions. You will work closely with individuals recovering from surgical procedures, those with chronic conditions, as well as younger patients needing specialized therapy. Your role is critical in guiding these individuals towards regaining their physical capabilities and enhancing their quality of life through innovative treatment strategies.

Qualifications

The position requires the following qualifications:

• Graduation from an APTA- or CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is mandatory; a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Current state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to ensure effective interactions with patients and families.
• Proficiency in word processing and basic computer skills for efficient documentation and communications.
• A commitment to establishing strong therapeutic alliances with patients.
• A positive attitude and a desire to engage with the community.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of clinical experience in physical therapy is required, candidates with expertise in specialized fields such as geriatrics, pediatrics, or sports medicine will be highly regarded. Your previous experience will help you navigate complex cases and enhance the treatment process for our varied patient base.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
