Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to identify clients’ mental health needs and goals.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

• Provide consistent psychotherapy sessions, typically via teletherapy, to assess progress and adjust treatment as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clients will encompass a wide array of backgrounds, including children, teens, and adults facing mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral challenges. As a counselor, you will engage with individuals from diverse communities in Brookhaven, New York, ensuring that your therapeutic approaches are culturally sensitive and inclusive.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s level degree in counseling, social work, or a related field from a regionally accredited institution.

• An active license to practice counseling or psychotherapy, such as LMHC, LMFT, or LICSW.

Compensation and Benefits\n
