Work Environment\n

This position offers a remote work setting, providing flexibility while maintaining a strong connection with our community health clinic. The work schedule primarily spans Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts as needed to accommodate the diverse needs of our patients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's psychological state and formulate appropriate, individualized treatment plans based on their unique circumstances.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic therapy tailored to patient needs.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions aiming to address emotional distress, enhance coping skills, and foster personal growth among clients.
\n
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare team members to maintain an integrated approach to patient care, ensuring all aspects of a patient's health are addressed holistically.

• Provide crisis intervention support, remaining calm and composed during high-pressure situations to assist patients in distress effectively.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment possibilities, and community resources, empowering them with knowledge and support.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation, adhering to all legal and ethical standards, ensuring that all patient interactions are recorded accurately.

• Participate in regular team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing professional development activities to stay current with best practices and treatment methodologies.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois.

• Strong knowledge of mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities, along with proficiency in crisis intervention techniques.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to establish rapport with clients and build strong therapeutic relationships.

• Experience in delivering both individual and group therapy sessions, with a comprehensive understanding of various therapeutic approaches.

Preferred Experience\n

• Two or more years of post-licensure experience in a mental health counseling setting.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant software applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 75,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
