Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health concerns, utilizing standard diagnostic tools and frameworks to develop individualized treatment plans.

• Provide evidence-based therapy sessions (individual, couple, family, and group) designed to meet the specific needs and therapeutic goals of each client.

• Implement crisis interventions for clients experiencing acute mental health crises, offering compassionate support and guidance.
\n
• Document client interactions meticulously by maintaining confidential records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and assessment data in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive care and optimize client outcomes.

• Educate clients and their families on mental health issues, therapeutic options, and community resources, while advocating for their needs and rights within the mental health system.

• Participate in ongoing professional development through workshops, training, and supervision to stay updated on the latest practices and innovations in mental health therapy.

Qualifications\n

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW) in Illinois.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.

• Demonstrated clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a mental health counseling setting.
