Compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist for Remote Telehealth Services

Position Overview

Stem Psychological Center is actively seeking a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, LICSW) to provide remote mental health services to clients, particularly those impacted by trauma. Work Environment

This is a fully remote position, allowing you the flexibility and convenience of working from home while engaging with clients via telehealth technology. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth, trauma-informed assessments to formulate an understanding of clients' trauma experiences and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing and coping strategies.
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions designed to help clients process their trauma and develop effective coping mechanisms.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other members of the multidisciplinary team to deliver integrated and holistic care that addresses the complex needs of clients.
• Provide crisis intervention services during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate support and guidance for clients in distress.
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses and coping strategies, enhancing their understanding of available resources and support systems.
• Maintain clear and confidential documentation of all client interactions and treatment strategies, in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.
• Actively participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development focused on trauma-informed care.
• Stay abreast of the latest research, methodologies, and best practices in trauma therapy to ensure the highest standard of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Stem Psychological Center, you will primarily work with individuals who have experienced trauma, including veterans, survivors of abuse, and other marginalized populations. Given the sensitivity of the client base, a deep understanding of trauma-related disorders and the ability to deliver personalized, compassionate care is essential to fostering trust and promoting recovery.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in Washington State.
• A strong foundation in trauma-informed care principles and a profound awareness of trauma-related disorders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to therapy.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems to facilitate seamless documentation and case management.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in providing mental health services, with a focus on trauma-focused interventions.
• Hands-on experience in delivering group therapy sessions and facilitating support groups for trauma survivors.
• Proven track record of developing effective treatment plans and successfully implementing evidence-based practices.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 104,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
