This individual will serve as a bridge between business stakeholders, vendors, architects, and engineering teams, helping modernize and integrate enterprise banking systems through cloud-first and API-driven solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining technical expertise, systems thinking, and business acumen to drive strategic technology initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary technical liaison between business partners, vendors, and internal technology teams.Lead discovery sessions and gather requirements to translate business objectives into technical solutions and implementation roadmaps.Analyze complex technical and operational challenges, identify root causes, and recommend scalable solutions.Design and document enterprise integration solutions leveraging APIs, middleware, cloud-native services, and modern architectural patterns.Evaluate the impact of proposed solutions across systems, data flows, and business processes.Assess vendor platforms, technical capabilities, and architecture to ensure alignment with organizational standards and long-term technology strategy.Identify and recommend modernization opportunities for legacy and on-premises applications.Partner with Architecture, Infrastructure, Security, and Development teams to ensure adherence to compliance, security, and architectural requirements.Support vendor selection and RFP processes by evaluating technical fit and solution viability.Present technical recommendations, tradeoffs, and solution strategies to both technical and executive stakeholders.Mentor junior team members and promote best practices in solution design, cloud technologies, and software engineering.Stay current on emerging technologies, including cloud platforms, integration technologies, and AI-driven solutions.Required QualificationsExperience7+ years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, or related technical roles.Proven experience designing and implementing modern cloud-based solutions using platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.Experience integrating enterprise applications through APIs, middleware, and modern integration patterns.Experience migrating or modernizing legacy/on-premises systems.Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), design patterns, testing methodologies, and code quality practices.Experience mentoring technical team members and providing technical leadership.Technical SkillsStrong cloud architecture and engineering knowledge.Experience with RESTful APIs, OData services, and enterprise integration solutions.Familiarity with middleware platforms such as MuleSoft or similar technologies.Understanding of containerization, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and cloud-native design principles.Ability to evaluate complex systems and understand impacts across interconnected business functions.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience within banking, financial services, lending, or core banking environments.Knowledge of enterprise banking platforms and financial technology ecosystems.Cloud certifications such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or comparable certifications.Soft SkillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language.Strong systems-thinking mindset and strategic problem-solving approach.Collaborative team player with the ability to influence across multiple departments.Passion for mentoring and developing technical talent.Why Apply?Opportunity to influence enterprise technology strategy and modernization initiatives.Work with cutting-edge cloud and integration technologies.High visibility position interacting with business and technology leadership.Collaborative culture focused on innovation, continuous learning, and professional growth.About TEKsystemsWe're partners in transformation.
