Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health status via video sessions, utilizing appropriate diagnostic tools to evaluate their needs.

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on client assessments, incorporating evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to each patient's unique circumstances.

• Engage clients in regular therapy sessions, employing both individual and group therapy modalities to facilitate their journey towards mental wellness.

• Monitor clients’ progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to ensure effective outcomes and address any emerging issues.

• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and primary care physicians, to coordinate comprehensive care and provide referrals when necessary.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards of practice.

• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and stay updated with the latest mental health practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Privia Health, you will have the opportunity to work with a broad spectrum of clients, including individuals dealing with substance abuse issues, depression, anxiety disorders, and eating disorders. Our clientele represents diverse backgrounds and experiences, enabling counselors to leverage their cultural competence and tailor interventions to meet each individual’s needs.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in California.
\n
• A minimum of four years of related clinical experience in a mental health setting.

• A strong understanding of mental health disorders and the application of evidence-based treatments.

• Demonstrated ability to remain composed and effective in high-pressure or crisis situations.

• Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems to facilitate efficient patient management.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
