Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and determine effective treatment methodologies.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that are tailored to promote trauma recovery and build resilience in patients.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, providing safe spaces for clients to process their experiences, establish coping strategies, and engage in the healing process.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to patient care.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, helping clients navigate high-stress situations.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and the resources available for further support.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation to comply with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

• Engage in case consultations and team meetings, contributing to discussions centered on trauma-informed care practices.

• Continuously seek out knowledge regarding the latest research, trends, and best practices in trauma therapy to enhance your therapeutic approach.

This role is specifically focused on serving individuals who have experienced trauma. Patients may present with a variety of challenges related to mental health, requiring sensitive and personalized care approaches. You will contribute to their healing journey through specialized interventions and continual support. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure in Texas as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW is essential for this role.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting, with a specific focus on trauma-informed care.

• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and proficiency in trauma-focused therapeutic modalities.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, combined with a compassionate approach to client interactions.

• A calm demeanor under pressure and the ability to stay composed in high-stress scenarios.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

Although candidates must have a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, those with additional exposure to trauma-focused therapies, group counseling settings, or specialized trauma training will be viewed favorably. Compensation and Benefits\n
