Compass Mental Health Center is seeking dedicated and compassionate mental health therapists to fill full-time positions in our dynamic outpatient detox center located in Concord, California. As a mental health therapist, you will play a critical role in providing individualized care that supports our patients in their recovery journey and improves their overall mental well-being.

While our primary office hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some schedule flexibility may be required to meet patient needs effectively.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to determine individual patient needs, sensitivities, and preferences, leading to effective and personalized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, adapting techniques to suit the unique circumstances of individuals, couples, and families.

• Facilitate psychoeducational sessions and support groups to foster community, understanding, and peer support among patients facing common mental health challenges.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, sharing insights and strategies to ensure every patient receives coordinated and comprehensive care.

• Respond to mental health crises by providing immediate intervention and counseling support, leveraging your knowledge to stabilize and guide patients through emergencies.

Qualifications\n
