Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that consider the interplay between psychiatric and medical conditions affecting individual patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clinic primarily serves individuals with co-occurring medical and mental health issues. As a Mental Health Counselor, you will engage with a diverse client base, providing tailored support to each patient. You’ll have the opportunity to work with individuals experiencing challenges such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and substance use, along with those facing chronic physical health conditions. Your role will be crucial in helping patients navigate their challenges and improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT within the state of California.

• Demonstrated experience catering to the mental health needs of individuals with complex, co-occurring medical challenges.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with the ability to build rapport with patients and families.

Compensation and Benefits\n
