Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to understand each client's mental health challenges, strengths, and available support systems.

• Provide effective individual, family, and group therapy sessions that utilize evidence-based treatment methodologies, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-focused therapy.

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans that set clear, measurable goals while adapting interventions as needed based on the clients' progress.

• Work closely with our interdisciplinary treatment team to provide coordinated, client-centered care, ensuring all aspects of the client’s health are addressed.

• Facilitate crisis interventions and risk assessments, implementing safety planning when necessary to ensure client safety.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with ethical guidelines, legal standards, and organizational policies to support ongoing treatment and progress monitoring.

• Lead group therapy sessions, psychoeducation classes, and support groups to enhance therapeutic engagement and provide additional resources for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients come from varied backgrounds, reflecting the rich diversity of the Elizabeth area. You will be working with individuals, couples, and families experiencing a wide range of mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, trauma-related challenges, and significant life transitions. Your role will be critical in helping these clients navigate their mental health journeys and achieve emotional stability.

Qualifications\n

• A relevant Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited program.

• Current and active licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New Jersey.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, with potential for performance-based bonuses.
