Monthly team meetings ensure continuous engagement and collaborative case management.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual therapy sessions with clients either in their homes or through online platforms, ensuring accessibility and comfort.

• Utilize evidence-based techniques to assist clients in anger management and coping mechanisms, concentrating on reducing high-risk behaviors such as self-injury or aggression.

• Guide adolescents and their caregivers to develop better decision-making skills, thereby enhancing behavioral management strategies within the home.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with the Child Family Treatment Team and other interdisciplinary professionals to create comprehensive treatment plans.
\n
• Consistently maintain and ensure timely submission of all required documentation, including intake assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
\n
• Participate actively in monthly team meetings and contribute recommendations for client care improvements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role is especially suited for professionals who are passionate about working with children and adolescents aged 3 to 20, along with those who have developmental and intellectual disabilities (I/DD). Qualifications\n

• A valid Master’s degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is required.

• An active and unrestricted Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) credential is necessary.

• Availability for a minimum of 5-10 hours per week, primarily during after-school hours of 4 PM to 7 PM; flexibility on weekends is preferred.

• A valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle for potential home visits.
\n
• A successful completion of a criminal background check, including fingerprinting, is required.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience providing positive behavior support, particularly in therapeutic settings.

• Prior work experience with children and teenagers, especially those facing intellectual and developmental challenges, is highly desirable.

• Bilingual capabilities in Spanish or Portuguese are a significant plus, enhancing communication with diverse clientele.

Compensation and Benefits\n
